Job Description

Overview We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Bar Manager to lead our vibrant bar operations and create memorable experiences for our guests. In this role, you will oversee daily bar activities, manage staff, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food and beverage quality. Your leadership will drive the success of our hospitality environment, fostering a lively atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for hospitality, food preparation, and team management to shine in a fast-paced, energetic setting. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all bar operations, ensuring smooth workflow during shifts and peak hours. Train, develop, and motivate bar staff to deliver outstanding customer service and uphold quality standards. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste. Oversee food preparation processes related to bar offerings, including cocktail garnishes and light snacks. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed. Enforce food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations and company policies. Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure timely food production and delivery for bar customers. Maintain a lively yet professional atmosphere by supervising shift management, resolving customer issues promptly, and ensuring team cohesion. Assist in interviewing, onboarding, and training new staff members to build a skilled team aligned with our service standards. Support budgeting efforts by tracking sales performance and controlling operational costs. Experience Proven management experience in a quick service & fast food restaurant or casual dining environment, preferably with bar or beverage focus. Extensive background in food industry roles including food preparation, food handling, and culinary experience. Demonstrated supervising experience with team management responsibilities such as training & development and shift oversight. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, hospitality management practices, and kitchen management principles. Experience working in fine dining or hotel environments is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally and energetically. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, foster a positive work environment, and support staff growth through effective interviewing and training techniques.
