Responsibilities:

Staff Management:

Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise bartenders, barbacks, and security staff.

Inventory & Purchasing:

Monitor stock levels, order liquor/supplies, and manage vendor relationships.

Financial Performance:

Meet revenue goals, manage budgets, control inventory costs, and handle cash reporting.

Operations & Compliance:

Ensure adherence to health, safety, and local liquor laws.

Customer Experience:

Handle complaints, build customer rapport, and maintain the venue's atmosphere.

Marketing & Promotions:

Plan, execute, and promote special events or happy hours.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Generally 2-3 years of hands-on, high-volume hospitality experience.

Knowledge:

Deep understanding of beverage trends, cocktails, and inventory management.

Certifications:

Food safety and responsible alcohol service certifications are often required.

Skills:

Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution abilities.

Technical:

Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management software.
