Bar Server

Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and take accurate beverage and food orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Serve drinks and food promptly while maintaining presentation standards in both fine dining and casual environments. Ensure proper food safety and handling procedures are followed at all times, including adhering to alcohol service regulations. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces, in compliance with health standards. Assist with setup and breakdown of bar areas for events like banquets or catering functions, ensuring all supplies are stocked and organized. Engage with guests proactively to promote sales of beverages and menu items while providing exceptional customer service in fast-paced settings such as nightclubs or food festivals. Skills Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and payment processing. Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively without compromising service quality. Previous experience in food service, retail math, or hospitality environments—especially fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings—is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling techniques, and alcohol serving regulations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, making change accurately, and managing sales transactions smoothly. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
