Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies. Assist bartenders by preparing garnishes, filling ice bins, and ensuring all bar tools are sanitized and ready for service. Support food preparation tasks such as handling snacks or light food items during busy service periods. Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and notifying managers when supplies need replenishing. Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes from the bar area to ensure a clean environment at all times. Serve bar drinks to tables - understand floor plan and table numbers. Uphold food handling safety standards and adhere to health regulations across all duties. Experience Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality environments is highly preferred, especially within nightclubs, restaurants, or hotel settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Experience with banquet service, serving at events, or working in a busy food industry setting will be advantageous. Strong communication skills and customer service orientation are essential for interacting effectively with team members and guests. Kitchen experience or barista background can be beneficial in understanding food and beverage operations. Prior roles involving bussing, food handling, or restaurant experience demonstrate readiness to excel in this supportive yet fast-paced role.
