Over the last few months we have expanded our service hours and offerings and would like to add a valued team member to assist in the growth of our coffee program! As a Barista, you'll craft exceptional coffee, create a welcoming customer experience, and create a community focused atmosphere. Whether you're passionate about coffee or eager to develop your skills in food service, we offers a dynamic opportunity to grow with us. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages Operate POS system Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and seating areas Engage with customers warmly, answer questions about menu items, and provide personalized recommendations Handle cashing out customers, managing cash handling procedures, and balancing registers at shift end Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures during beverage preparation and serving Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling menu items to enhance customer experience Requirements Previous barista experience or strong interest in coffee culture and food service industry Familiarity with POS systems like Toast Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and enthusiastically Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible hours including weekends or evenings as needed $13-$15/hour plus tips.
