Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations
• Operate our POS systems for order processing and cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards
• Manage food preparation tasks, including basic food assembly and serving items promptly
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations
• Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
• Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly and professionally
• Participate in or help create engaging social media content for Joysey Café, including photos, videos, or promotional posts when needed Requirements
• Previous barista experience or strong coffee experience is preferred; passion for coffee is a plus!
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to perform basic math for sales transactions and retail math calculations
• Experience in food service or retail environments is advantageous
• Willingness to participate in or contribute to Joysey Café social media content is a plus
