Job Summary We're on the lookout for a friendly and energetic Barista to bring great coffee experiences to our customers. In this role, you'll be the face of our café, crafting delicious beverages, providing top-notch customer service, and ensuring a welcoming environment. If you love coffee, Tea, Matcha and enjoy serving people, and thrive in a lively setting, this is the perfect spot for you! This position includes tips with your wage. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and beverages with precision and care. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety practices. Engage with customers warmly, answer questions about menu items, and promote sales opportunities. Manage cash handling duties with accuracy, including cash register operations and basic math calculations. Support food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring quality standards are met. Follow all food safety regulations and health guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests. Qualifications Previous barista experience or background in coffee service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm counts! Familiarity with POS systems like Toast is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle busy café hours efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
