Barista

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process customer orders and handle cash transactions. Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar, equipment, and seating areas to ensure a safe and inviting environment. Assist customers with menu selections, providing recommendations based on their preferences. Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; notify management when stock is low. Follow food safety guidelines and maintain compliance with health regulations. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, ensuring their needs are met promptly. Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent time management abilities to handle peak hours efficiently. Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous. Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus; training will be provided. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
