Barista and Cashier

Overview We are seeking an upbeat bubbly and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, made to order food items, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our customers while adhering to food safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintaining a well groomed, polished, appearance able to work in. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Operate cash registers efficiently, handling transactions accurately while providing friendly service. Assist with food preparation and service, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Manage time effectively to meet customer demands during peak hours. Engage with customers to provide recommendations and promote menu items, enhancing sales opportunities. Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, reporting any shortages or discrepancies. Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and preparation. Requirements Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management. Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. A passion for coffee and beverage preparation is highly desirable.
