In this role, you'll craft quality coffee, connect with our community, and help create the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes guests want to stay awhile and come back often. You'll prepare handcrafted drinks with care, provide genuine customer service, and help maintain a clean, positive café environment. We value energy, attention to detail, and a love for creating meaningful experiences through coffee and conversation. This is a paid opportunity to grow your skills in hospitality and specialty coffee while working alongside a supportive, community-driven team in a fast-paced and uplifting environment. DUTIES Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with consistency and care Complete opening and/or closing duties, including setup, cleaning, stocking, and end-of-day tasks Prep ingredients, brew coffee, and restock café supplies throughout shifts Operate the POS system accurately and handle cash responsibly Provide friendly, attentive customer service and create a welcoming environment Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards Assist with serving pastries and light food items as needed Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality and accuracy Support daily café operations and contribute to a positive team environment Skills Strong communication and people skills Friendly, positive, and team-oriented attitude Customer service or hospitality experience Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Time management and reliability Attention to detail and consistency Cash handling and basic math skills Willingness to learn and take initiative Ability to work collaboratively with a team Food service, retail, or restaurant experience preferred but not required Comfortable working mornings, weekends, and busy shifts Passion for coffee, community, and creating welcoming experiences Transferable experience from retail, restaurants, customer service, sales, or other fast-paced environments is highly valued.
