Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit Must have at least 1-2 years experience Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care Operate POS systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity and accuracy Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas Follow food safety protocols and food handling procedures to ensure quality and hygiene standards are met Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, pastries, or other café offerings Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality Upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities while providing knowledgeable recommendations to customers Keep track of inventory levels for beverages and food items, notifying management of supplies needed Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards at all times Experience Previous barista experience or background in coffee preparation is highly desirable Proven experience in retail or food service environments demonstrating strong customer service skills Familiarity with POS systems Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling, sales totals, and change accuracy Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Strong communication skills with a friendly, energetic approach to customer interactions Experience in serving or cashiering roles within cafés or restaurants is preferred This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy engaging with people, and are passionate about delivering top-notch café experiences.
