Responsibilities Prepare and assemble pastries, baked goods, and other food items according to established recipes and quality standards Craft a variety of coffee beverages using espresso machines and other equipment with precision and care Maintain cleanliness and organization of pastry prep areas, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide exceptional customer service Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions Manage time effectively to ensure timely preparation of pastries during busy hours Support food handling procedures to ensure freshness, safety, and compliance with health regulations Skills Prior barista experience with a strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage customization Experience in pastry preparation or food service environments within cafés or the food industry Proficiency with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales transactions Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Embark on a rewarding journey where your passion for coffee and baked goods makes every guest's experience memorable!
