As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional experience for our customers by preparing high-quality coffee and beverages, alcoholic drinks providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining a welcoming environment. You will also be serving food and must have a level of food service knowledge. If you have these qualifications this would be a great fit for you! Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Be abele to take food orders to go and in person. Being knowledgeable of our food is a very important key in this position Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately while providing friendly service. Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide recommendations to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, counters, and seating areas. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations at all times. Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, alcohol pours and other supplies; communicate needs to management as necessary. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and excellent customer service. Experience Previous experience in a café or food service environment with at least one year of barista experience. Must be an enthusiastic candidate/high energy. Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is advantageous. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Open availability Be able to multitask between making drinks, serving food and answering phones. Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
