Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care. Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and process transactions efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations, seating areas, and equipment. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling procedures with accuracy and integrity. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling practices at all times. Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks to meet quality standards. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming environment for all guests. Skills Proven experience as a barista or in food service within a café or retail environment. Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage customization. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math tasks accurately. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
