Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, offering recommendations and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit. Manage cash handling, POS transactions (including Aloha POS and Micros POS systems), and billing accurately to ensure seamless checkout experiences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, following food safety and sanitation standards. Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment; respond promptly to any issues or concerns. Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts to ensure smooth service flow. Collaborate with kitchen staff for food and beverage pairing, catering events, or banquet service when needed. Skills Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings; hospitality experience preferred. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism. Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly during busy periods. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Familiarity with food industry terminology, beverage recipes, brewing processes, and serving techniques. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events such as catering or banquets.
