Job Summary Sushi Lounge Totowa is looking for a dynamic bartender to join our team. Leader in restaurant, nightlife and hospitality for 18 years. Combination of day and night shifts available with indoor and outdoor shifts available. Experience a must in a full service restaurant !!! Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using various POS systems such as Toast and Resy Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards. Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering and processing payments securely. Restock bar supplies, monitor inventory levels, and assist with catering or banquet events as needed. Uphold responsible serving practices by checking IDs, monitoring guest consumption, and adhering to alcohol service regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during busy nights or special events such as nightclubs or large banquets. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially within fine dining or nightlife settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that enhances guest experiences. Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and food safety procedures. Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling protocols, and responsible alcohol serving practices. Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and accurate order calculations. Experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus for versatile service capabilities. Knowledge of brewing processes or the food industry is beneficial for engaging with diverse guest preferences.
