Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to take orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide personalized recommendations. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order entry, billing, and cash handling processes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible serving practices and prevent over-service or intoxication. Assist with setup and breakdown of the bar area during shifts, including restocking supplies and inventory management. Collaborate with kitchen staff during busy service times to ensure smooth food and beverage delivery, especially in fine dining or banquet settings. Skills Proven experience as a bartender in a restaurant, nightclub, or banquet environment with strong knowledge of food handling and safety protocols. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests quickly and professionally. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours. Knowledge of food industry standards including food safety regulations, beverage preparation techniques, and responsible serving practice Familiarity with retail math principles for stock control and sales tracking is a plus.
