Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic options. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Manage cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) transactions using systems. Monitor guest consumption responsibly and adhere to alcohol service regulations. Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts. Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators for catering, banquet, or restaurant functions to deliver seamless service. Uphold food handling standards and ensure all beverages are prepared safely in accordance with food safety guidelines. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant, nightclub, or banquet setting; fine dining experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of POS systems for efficient order processing and cash handling. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Demonstrated time management skills to handle busy periods effectively without compromising quality. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding, and bill splitting. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations; prior experience in beverage serving is preferred.
