Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
• Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately
• Monitor customer behavior and intervene as needed to maintain a safe and enjoyable atmosphere
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction
• Follow all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a bartender in a restaurant or similar setting
• Knowledge of brewing techniques and different types of alcoholic beverages
• Familiarity with Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale software
• Strong math skills for accurately calculating bills and making change
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner
• Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
• Time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Knowledge of food service industry standards and best practices
• Experience with catering events is a plus
• Proficiency in operating a cash register
