Bartender

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service and expertly crafted cocktails. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits. Manage POS system Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cashiering duties and balancing registers at shift end. Assist with food service when needed, including serving snacks or small plates in dining room and banquet settings. Support the team during catering events or banquets by setting up stations, serving beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly while maintaining attention to detail. Stay informed about beverage trends, brewing techniques, and new products to enhance guest experience. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as a nightclub, restaurant, or banquet hall; fine dining experience is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems like Square, Clover, or TouchBistro Strong customer service skills with an energetic approach to engaging guests and creating a lively atmosphere. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash transactions and retail math calculations. Experience in serving alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal regulations related to alcohol service. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume shifts. Additional skills such as catering support, food industry knowledge, retail math proficiency, and banquet experience are advantageous.
