Overview Burnt Cabin Marina is seeking a bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Whether working in a fine dining restaurant, nightclub, or banquet setting, you will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Engage with customers, providing excellent service and assistance with drink selections. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilizing basic math skills for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed, applying retail math skills when necessary. Stay updated on drink trends and menu changes to enhance sales opportunities. Adhere to all local laws regarding alcohol service and maintain responsible serving practices. Qualifications Strong knowledge of food safety practices within the food industry. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure. Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. A positive attitude and willingness to help both customers and team members alike. Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in accordance with state regulations.
