Bartender

Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role requires proficiency in Square Point of Sale (POS) system. A strong understanding of food safety and safe handling practices is a must. Experience in fast paced bars, nightclubs, or catering is highly desirable. TIPS certification is a plus. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper storage of liquor and supplies. Operate POS system (Square) efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines while handling food and beverages. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests at the bar or dining area. Requirements Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is required, at least 2 years. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to engage guests positively. Collaboration with co-workers and ability to maintain healthy relationships as a team is required. Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions. Knowledge of food safety practices and safe alcohol serving certification is required. Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed within the hospitality industry.
