Bartender

The Salmonberry is a busy 'farm to table' restaurant on the waterfront in Wheeler, Oregon. We seek to hire the position of: Experienced Lead Bartender We are in search of a team player who is highly motivated, detail-oriented. With a keen sense of humor, compassion, professionalism and a strong work ethic. The Salmonberry seeks a hospitality professional who is able to set, execute and maintain high levels of service under pressure while maintaining a positive guest experience. This is a full-time position available. Starting Pay is $18-$20 an hour plus pooled tips equal to an additional $9-$19 an hour This is a tip-pooled house The Salmonberry is looking for team members who bring creativity, authentic generosity, and enthusiasm to the workplace. Prior bartending experience in a full-service restaurant is required with: Willingness to represent and execute a pre-established classic set craft cocktail menu Knowledge of food, wine, and spirits and a passion for farm to table cuisine Ability to work and produce in a very busy customer service environment Positive verbal communication skills Working knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems. Ability to perform with confidence and efficiency, quickly with grace. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and spend up to six hours standing/walking.
