Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately using industry-standard POS systems Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and up-sell menu items to enhance their experience. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food handling and safety regulations at all times. Manage cash handling duties efficiently, including cashiering and processing payments with accuracy. Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible serving practices, especially in bar environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering events to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly during busy hours while providing outstanding customer service. Experience Previous experience working as a bartender in bar, nightclub, or banquet settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with industry-standard POS systems is essential for efficient order processing. Knowledge of food safety standards and food handling procedures within the food industry is a plus. Proven ability in sales techniques to promote drinks and increase revenue through suggestive selling. Experience in retail math for cash handling, basic math skills for accurate bill splitting, and managing tabs effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in hospitality environments. Knowledge of beverage crafting is a plus for creating specialty drinks.
