Bartender/Barista

This position requires a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with a passion for excellent customer service and a strong knowledge of both craft beer and coffee. The Beertender/Barista will be responsible for providing friendly and efficient service to customers, preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including craft beers, coffee drinks, and other refreshments. 15 per hour +

Tips Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Beverage Preparation:

Accurately prepare and serve a wide range of craft beers and wine, including knowledge of different styles, brewing techniques, and flavor profiles. Skillfully prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and specialty brews. Prepare and serve non-alcoholic beverages, including teas, juices, and sodas.

Customer Service:

Provide friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable service to all customers. Greet customers warmly and build rapport. Provide recommendations based on customer preferences. Handle customer requests and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.

Bar/Cafe Maintenance:

Inventory Management:

Cash Handling:

Maintain a clean and organized work area. Stock and replenish bar supplies. Clean and sanitize all equipment and glassware. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. Assist with inventory control for beer, coffee, and other bar supplies. Monitor stock levels to report back to management. Accurately process customer payments and operate the Toast system. Handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment. Balance cash drawers and reconcile transactions.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Prior experience as a bartender, barista, or in a similar role preferred. Knowledge of craft beer styles, brewing techniques, and tasting notes. Experience with espresso machines and coffee brewing equipment preferred.

Other:

Must be at least 21 years old. Must be able to lift and carry 20 pounds. Must be able to stand for extended periods. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
