Position Overview As a Baseball Instructor at Ascent Athlete, you will be a key driver of athlete growth across multiple disciplines, including hitting, pitching, or fielding. You will work directly with athletes in individual and small-group settings to refine mechanics, increase output, and improve game-day IQ. This role is perfect for a coach who thrives in a fast-paced, tech-forward environment.

Key Responsibilities Skill Instruction:

Provide high-level technical instruction tailored to the age and skill level of each athlete. Implement drills and training modalities that focus on mechanical efficiency, power production, and situational awareness. Foster a high-energy, competitive atmosphere that encourages athletes to push their limits.

Player Development:

Utilize on-site technology (HitTrax, Trackman, Blast Motion, etc.) to assess performance and track progress. Help athletes understand their data and turn metrics into actionable adjustments on the field. Provide consistent feedback and mentorship to help players navigate their developmental roadmaps.

Collaboration:

Work alongside our Directors of Hitting, Pitching, and Sports Performance to ensure a cohesive training experience. Assist in player evaluations and contribute to facility-wide clinics and programs.

Facility Engagement:

Maintain a professional, organized, and safe training environment. Engage with parents and athletes to build a strong sense of community within "The Lab."

Qualifications Baseball Experience:

Significant experience playing or coaching at the collegiate or professional level. A deep understanding of modern baseball trends, mechanics, and strategy.

Coaching Skills:

Proven ability to connect with and motivate youth, high school, and elite-level athletes. Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex movements simply.

Knowledge of Training Techniques:

Familiarity with data-driven training tools and video analysis. A "student of the game" mindset—always looking to stay ahead of industry standards and new methodologies.

Availability:
