Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Make a lasting impact by bringing your expertise to students and educators in a contract role near New Haven, CT. This opportunity is tailored for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) enthusiastic about supporting positive student outcomes and collaborating with dedicated school professionals.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
Active BCBA certification required Prior experience as a BCBA in K-12 educational settings preferred Strong behavior assessment and intervention planning abilities Excellent communication skills with students, families, and staff Committed to evidence-based practices and ethical guidelines Capability to provide training to support personnel and teachers
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop data-driven intervention plans Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement behavior strategies Provide direct and consultative support for students with diverse needs Monitor progress and adjust individualized programs as needed Facilitate staff training sessions on behavioral interventions and best practices Participate in IEP and student support meetings as a behavior expert
