Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract A highly motivated individual with BCBA certification is needed for a contract opportunity working with elementary students. This full-time position (37.5-40 hours weekly) begins immediately and continues through June 22, with a potential extension into the first semester of the upcoming academic year. You will support 24 inclusion students in grades K-3, as well as 5 students in a sub-separate classroom environment.
Key Qualifications:
Active BCBA certification Previous experience supporting K-3 students, ideally within public school settings Strong organizational and collaboration skills Ability to develop and implement behavioral intervention plans Effective communication with students, staff, and families
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavioral assessments for assigned caseload Design and oversee individualized intervention strategies to support inclusion and sub-separate classrooms Provide ongoing data collection, analysis, and program modifications as needed Collaborate with general education and special education staff to implement behavior support plans Provide training, consultation, and professional development for teachers and paraprofessionals Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student progress evaluations This role offers a dynamic environment working directly with students and dedicated staff across inclusion and specialized settings. The position is entirely during the regular and new school year, with no summer/ESY coverage required.
