Job Description

Aequor is currently hiring full-time BCBAs on our school-based team in West New York, NJ for the upcoming 26/27 school year.
Pay:
$70 - $75 per hour W2
Hours:
7 hours/day, Monday-Friday Position Summary The School-Based Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides behavioral assessment, consultation, and intervention services to support students with behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs. The BCBA collaborates with administrators, teachers, related service providers, and families to develop and implement evidence-based behavior intervention plans that promote student success in the educational environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and analyze data to identify target behaviors and underlying functions. Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) aligned with student IEP goals. Design individualized behavior support programs using evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Collect, graph, and analyze behavioral data to guide decision-making and adjust interventions as needed. Consultation & Collaboration Provide consultation and coaching to teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers on behavior management strategies. Participate in IEP, eligibility, and multidisciplinary team meetings. Collaborate with families to ensure consistency between school and home environments. Support district-wide positive behavior support initiatives and
MTSS/RTI
frameworks. Qualifications Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or related field. Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required. Strong knowledge of ABA principles, behavior assessment tools, and data analysis. Work Environment School-based setting serving students with diverse academic, behavioral, and developmental needs.
