This dynamic role involves patrolling resort grounds during various shifts—10pm to 8am, 2pm to 10pm, and 4pm to 1am—helping us maintain a safe, welcoming environment. Duties Conduct regular patrols of resort grounds, beaches, and surrounding areas during assigned shifts to identify potential security issues or hazards. Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity and detect suspicious behavior or unauthorized access. Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR, conflicts among guests or staff, and security breaches. Enforce resort policies by managing access control for guests, staff, contractors, and vendors; verify identification as needed. Maintain detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and observations; prepare clear reports for management review. Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to ensure swift resolution of issues. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism and implementing preventative measures. Qualifications Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Certifications in first aid and CPR are preferred; ongoing training in conflict management and surveillance techniques is a plus. Familiarity with CCTV systems and loss prevention strategies enhances effectiveness on the job. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert during long shifts; physically capable of patrolling outdoor areas on foot or by vehicle. Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with guests, team members, and emergency responders.
