Collaborate closely with speech therapists, occupational therapists, educators, and families to ensure cohesive care plans and consistent behavioral strategies. Monitor children's medical records and document progress meticulously while maintaining confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Participate in team meetings to review treatment goals, update care plans, and share insights on behavioral progress or challenges. Experience Prior experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental disabilities, is highly preferred. K nowledge of behavioral therapy techniques such as applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavior management strategies is essential. Familiarity with assisting children with ADLs and implementing individualized teaching methods within a special education framework is advantageous. Experience in data collection for behavioral assessments or progress tracking enhances effectiveness in this role. Understanding of medical terminology, documentation practices, and HIPAA compliance ensures accurate record keeping.
