Job Description

Our website is rtherapyllc.com Small family owned and family-oriented business Supportive environment Training hours is the same pay as direct service hours Clients located in the treasure valley Our business is small but growing! We are looking to add more behavior intervention staff. Behavior intervention staff work in the home and community with children between the ages of 3-21. Our staff assist children with their individual goals that include: activities of daily living, communicating, problem solving, decreasing maladaptive behaviors, self- regulating, etc. We are intentional to match our employees with clients to ensure there is a good fit for both the employee and the family.
Responsibilities:
Respect participants' rights and dignity. Show up for scheduled sessions. Implement interventions according to the behavior intervention plans Collect and maintain accurate data collection and session notes. Submit data and session notes on time Communicate with team members about participants' progress and needs. Communicate with supervisor if any additional materials or support is needed (Supervisor will be checking in often but open communication is important to us). Attend and participate in mandatory team meetings and (monthly) trainings Maintain professional boundaries with participants and families Minimum qualifications:
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • 1,040 hrs of supervised documented experience working with individuals aged 0-21 with developmental disabilities.
  • Have a Master's Degree in Human Services (if degree is not in Human services, then needs to show 24 credits in human service courses, need transcript) The following Bachelor degree are considered to be a Human Services degree: Human Service, Family Relations/Family and Child Services, Counseling, Nursing, Sociology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Physical Therapy, Psychology, Education/Special Education, Child Development/Human Development, Occupational Therapy, Behavioral Sciences/ABA.
-Recent RBT certificate or willing to take the course.
  • Active CPR & First aid training (or be willing to take the course) .
