Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Behavior Technician and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions, support skill development, and assist with daily living activities. Responsibilities Assist with daily household chores Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment adjustments and ensure effective outcomes. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting to enhance independence. Support teaching and skill acquisition across various developmental areas, including communication, social skills, and self-care. Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Foster a safe, nurturing environment by practicing patience, empathy, and professionalism during all interactions. Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with children or individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities. Knowledge of medical terminology, documentation standards, and confidentiality requirements under HIPAA. Ability to collect detailed data and maintain precise medical records for ongoing treatment planning. Excellent teaching skills with a patient-centered approach to support learning and behavior change. Familiarity with special education practices and behavior management strategies. Compassionate care provider with a commitment to patient care and promoting positive behavioral health outcomes.
Pay:
$17.50 - $18.50 per hour

High school or equivalent (Required)
