Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors Collect, record, and analyze data related to behaviors, progress, and treatment goals to inform ongoing care plans Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, toileting, and mobility support Support teaching sessions that enhance communication, social skills, and independence through engaging activities Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of client records Collaborate with supervisors and team members to modify strategies as needed for optimal outcomes Create a safe, nurturing environment that encourages growth while managing behavioral challenges effectively Skills Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members Ability to assist with ADLs and implement care plans with patience and compassion Eager to learn how to collect data and maintaining detailed medical records Demonstrated ability or willing to learn on how to support positive behavioral change Embark on a fulfilling career where your enthusiasm for helping others can truly shine!
