Job Description
Position Summary:
The Behavioral Health Specialist supports the milieu by facilitating therapeutic skills and activity groups, providing therapeutic meal support at mealtimes and snacks, assisting clients in acquiring skills to manage their eating disorder, maintaining a recovery-oriented environment, and providing general support and assistance .Schedule:
Full-time, 0.8 FTE (32hours/week) Sunday - Wednesday10:30a-7:00p Rotating holidays requiredCompensation Disclosure:

Starting hourly range between $20.00-25.00 Final Compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for the positionHow Behavior Health Specialists Empower Recovery:
Facilitates therapy groups including skills groups (including CBT and DBT), self-monitoring groups, and experiential activity groups which may include art activities, music, journaling, mindfulness, relaxation, and movement. Participates in therapeutic supported meals and snacks. Provides milieu support. Contributes to the creation and maintenance of a recovery-oriented therapeutic environment. Participates in client therapeutic outings. May meet with residents to provide support and provide in-the-moment skills coaching. Supports individualized treatment plans as developed by therapist and treatment team. Participates in treatment team, mini team, therapy team, and/or case consultation meetings. Participates in scheduled supervision meetings and seeks supervision when needed. Ability to engage, coach, monitor, and support residents as needed.General Education Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in a mental, behavioral, counseling, or behavioral sciences health-related field is strongly preferred. OR An associate's degree may be considered if combined with equivalent experience in the mental or behavioral health field. Regardless of degree, a minimum of 1 years of direct patient care experience in a mental/behavioral health setting is required.What we offer:
