Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with diverse behavioral health needs. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will provide compassionate patient care, assist with behavioral management, and support treatment plans for clients with developmental disabilities, autism, PTSD, addiction issues, and other mental health conditions. Your proactive approach will help create a safe, nurturing environment that promotes healing and growth. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily activities and personal care to promote independence and well-being Implement behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques to support positive behaviors Conduct intake assessments and collect data on patient progress to inform treatment plans Monitor vital signs and administer medications following medical records and HIPAA guidelines Respond effectively to crisis situations through crisis intervention and crisis management protocols Document medical records, behavioral observations, and treatment updates accurately and securely in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with social workers, medical staff, and family members to coordinate comprehensive care plans Support individuals with disabilities, autism, or developmental disabilities by providing tailored educational and therapeutic interventions Qualifications Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and crisis management strategies Familiarity with medical terminology, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and medical documentation procedures Strong understanding of behavioral health concepts such as behavior management, applied behavior analysis, and social work principles Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing PTSD or addiction challenges Excellent communication skills for intake procedures, data collection, and teamwork Compassionate attitude with a commitment to patient-centered care in a HIPAA-compliant environment

Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
