Behavioral Health Technician (Treatment Assistant) / Admissions Coordinator

Free by the Sea is seeking compassionate and reliable individuals for a dual role supporting both our treatment team and admissions department. This position plays an important role in supporting clients during treatment while also assisting with the admissions process for new clients entering care. No experience required. On-the-job training is provided. Position Responsibilities Treatment Assistant Responsibilities Support clients with daily activities and participation in the treatment program Help monitor and document client progress Assist clinical staff in delivering high-quality care Observe urinalysis testing Enter notes and documentation in our Electronic Health Record system Help maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment Admissions Responsibilities Assist with client intake, screenings, and documentation Verify insurance benefits Help coordinate admissions tasks and scheduling Communicate with prospective clients and families Provide a welcoming and supportive experience for individuals entering treatment Preferred Skills Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to type 40+ words per minute and maintain accurate documentation Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, healthcare, or customer service preferred Comfortable using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality Team-oriented and able to work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff Experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
