Recovery Revelations Position Overview:

Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) - Detox Program The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) at Recovery Revelations provides direct support and supervision to clients receiving services in a medically supervised detoxification and residential recovery setting. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment while supporting individuals through early recovery, withdrawal stabilization, and transition into continued levels of care. Behavioral Health Technicians collaborate closely with medical, and clinical staff to monitor client safety, observe withdrawal symptoms, assist with daily operations, and ensure accurate documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) and facility logs. This position also includes crisis response, client transportation, and assistance with facility upkeep. A valid driver's license is required. A RADT is required. CPR, First Aid certificate is required.

Part-Time (under 32 hours) Part-Time Overnight (under 32 hours) Full-Time (40 hours) Full-Time Overnight (40 hours) Shifts Currently Available Swing Shift (3:00 p.m. - 12:00a.m.) Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday Overnight Shift (11:00 p.m. - 8:00a.m.) Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday Primary Responsibilities & Duties Monitor client whereabouts continuously and document observations related to withdrawal symptoms, mood, behavior, and safety Complete routine rounds and detailed shift reports in accordance with detox and residential program standards Support and encourage client participation in scheduled activities, groups, and medical appointments Observe, document, and report client concerns, withdrawal-related symptoms, and behavioral changes to nursing or clinical staff Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges at the detox level of care as assigned Orient new admissions to detox unit rules, safety protocols, and daily structure Provide direct client care under the supervision of clinical staff Support medication administration processes, including supervision of self-administration when appropriate Assist with or supervise urine drug screening procedures as directed Maintain a safe, calm, and therapeutic environment during acute withdrawal periods Transport clients to approved appointments, meetings, or transfers using company vehicles Reinforce facility policies, safety expectations, and recovery-oriented structure Maintain professional, respectful, and supportive relationships with clients and interdisciplinary staff Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness in a fast-paced detox environment Assist with general facility upkeep to ensure a clean and safe setting Complete and immediately report any incident reports or safety concerns to the Behavioral Health Technician Manager or Supervisor Participate in shift exchanges as approved and ensure all documentation is completed prior to shift end
