Behavioral Specialist (78483) PA, Selinsgrove - State Center Selinsgrove - Selinsgrove, PA 17870 Apply Overview Position Type Full-Time Job Shift Day Education Level Graduate Degree Travel Percentage None Category Behavioral Health Professional & Support Apply Description MHM Solutions, a Centurion Health company, is proud to be the provider of healthcare staffing solutions to state agencies within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We are currently seeking a full time Behavioral Specialist to join our team at the Selinsgrove Center located in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. The Behavioral Specialist assist in the assessment of capacity and needs of the individual who reside at the center. Conduct behavioral assessments (Vineland, Vanderbilt Assessment Scale). Develop and implement treatment plans and keep detailed records. Develop, implement and monitor behavioral plans, providing individualized instructional and behavioral support plans and assisting in crisis situations. Conduct behavioral analyses to identify triggers, frequencies and consequences of an individuals behavior. Facilitate skill building sessions to help individuals develop social skills, self care skills and other life skills. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (psychiatry, PSS, RSA/RSAT, PSD, FD, CDS and other healthcare professionals). Support transition activities of individuals from the state center to the community Qualifications Possesses a minimum of a master's degree in education or psychology, social work, or other related field with an emphasis on behavioral support. Five (5) plus years in service delivery to persons living with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), intellectual developmental disabilities (IDD) and dual diagnosis. Experience Conducting behavioral assessments and specifically lists vineland, Vanderbilt assessment scale .
