Behavior Support Specialists provide support in a variety of settings, including group homes, day programs and other locations in the community. With a focus on enhancing the individual's current social, communication, vocational and life skills and his or her quality of life, the BSS provides assessment, identifies strategies, and develops support plans. They also facilitate staff and caregiver training, as well as coordinate services with the individual, agency staff, other service providers and county support coordinators.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a Human Service field.

Work schedule:

The successful candidate should be able to work a combination of daytime and evening hours, and minimal weekend hours when necessary. This position is based out of home office with travel within Huntingdon County, PA Travel is required of this position within Huntingdon County and surrounding areas.
