Bellperson

Guest Assistance:

Greet guests upon arrival and departure. Assist with luggage, including loading and unloading from vehicles. Escort guests to their rooms and explain room features and hotel amenities.

Guest Services:

Respond to guest requests for assistance and information about the hotel and local area. Deliver items such as messages, packages, amenities, and room service orders to guest rooms. Provide directions and recommendations for dining, entertainment, and attractions.

Transportation:

Arrange for transportation services such as taxis, shuttle buses, and car rentals. Assist with valet parking services, if applicable.

Hotel Operations Support:

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bell stand and luggage storage areas. Assist with the management of luggage storage, including tagging, logging, and retrieving stored luggage. Support the front desk staff with check-in and check-out processes, as needed.

Safety and Security:

Ensure the safety and security of guest belongings. Report any suspicious activities or security concerns to management.

Customer Service:

Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude at all times.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 pounds). Professional appearance and demeanor. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Work Environment:

The role typically requires standing for long periods and moving around the hotel property. The bellperson may be required to work in various weather conditions when assisting with outdoor luggage and transportation services.
