10+ Months Contract Global Pathology Quality Control Scientist Position Summary Through their expert knowledge in anatomic and/or clinical pathology techniques and processes, the Global Pathology Quality Control Scientist will primarily and independently conduct all aspects of Quality Control of anatomic and/or clinical pathology data, specimens and reports on GLP and non GLP studies. The data quality control reviewed on these studies enable candidate selection, first-in-human studies, and early research and target safety and investigative work. Position Responsibilities Perform all regulatory responsibilities in compliance with applicable regulatory standards. Perform all regulatory responsibilities in compliance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS), regulatory standards including Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards, animal welfare regulations, and departmental policies/procedures. Perform Quality Control of anatomic and/or clinical pathology data, specimens and reports independently Adheres to all study reporting timelines Contribute to DSRD publication data integrity Quality Control May contribute to pathology scheduling tasks Must Have Qualifications B.S. Biology or related field with 5 to 7 years of related experience Knowledge and/or skills of relevant disciplines (necropsy, histology, clinical pathology, animal science) ≥ 5 years in GLP environment ≥ 5 years relevant experience in quality control Organizational Relationships Reports to DSRD Pathology QC & Strategic Planning Lead Interacts with others in the Pathology line, including anatomic and/or clinical Pathologists, Anatomic and Investigative Laboratory Managers, Anatomic and Investigative Pathology Scientists and Technicians, Clinical Pathology Scientists, Global pathology Slide Scanning Lead. Interacts with other DSRD lines and Research Units as per project needs.Work Location:
