Job Description

New England Cancer Specialists (NECS)Maine's largest independent oncology and hematology practiceseeks a Board-Certified (or Eligible) Hematologist to join its highly successful, physician-led group. As a private practice and affiliate member of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, NECS offers the best of both worlds: autonomy, strong infrastructure, and access to cutting-edge research, tumor boards, precision medicine, and clinical trials.   • Competitive compensation based on MGMA median ($550K+ base + wRVU bonus)
  • 4 clinic days + 1 administrative day
  • Exceptional team support and collegial culture (APPs, Nurse Navigator, and Schedulers)
  • Manageable volume: 12-16 patients/day once ramped
  • Low-burden call: 1:16 rotation, APPs take first calljust a handful of calls per year
  • Two months
