POSITION SUMMARY

The Shuttle Driver picks up and drops off dealership customers along a predetermined route, usually in the company van. Also ensuring the safety of customers, delivering to their destination on time, and maintaining a clean and well-kept company vehicle. Having useful knowledge regarding the area you are driving in and the sites you pass can help you build a rapport with customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Safely transport dealership customers to and from designated locations using a company shuttle vehicle Provide timely pick-up and drop-off service while following predetermined routes and schedules Ensure passenger safety by adhering to traffic laws, company policies, and safe driving practices Maintain a professional, courteous, and customer-focused attitude at all times Assist customers with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed Keep the company vehicle clean, fueled, and well-maintained inside and out Perform routine vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns Communicate effectively with dealership staff regarding customer transportation needs Build positive rapport with customers by providing friendly conversation and helpful information about the local area Manage multiple pick-up and drop-off requests while maintaining punctuality and organization Represent the dealership in a professional manner while interacting with customers and the public Follow all company procedures regarding vehicle use, customer service, and safety regulations Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

Follow company safety standards Be able to read, understand and comprehend all company and regulatory policies Strong interpersonal skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service Previous experience in retail, hospitality, customer service or similar roles is strongly preferred EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

Prolonged periods of sitting Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times Ability to travel occasionally

Valid Texas Driver's License
