A Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of a building and the surrounding grounds. Their duties include vacuuming floors, sanitizing restroom facilities, and collecting trash to ensure the building occupants have a clean space.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

A Custodian's main responsibility is to clean a workspace. This task is broken down into several duties performed throughout the day or at other regular intervals, such as: Emptying trash cans Dusting all surfaces Ordering new cleaning supplies as needed Washing windows Maintaining a thorough inventory Must accurately complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner. Must follow directives from supervisor/manager. Proactively seek additional work and provide status updates to supervisor. Other duties as assigned Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to multitask efficiently and effectively.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times. Occasional lifting, standing, crawling, reaching, use of stairs.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid Texas Driver's License

Pass Background Check Pass Drug Test 21 Years-Old or Older
