Bi-Vocational Pastor

Bi-vocational Pastor Joy Community Fellowship Archdale/High Point, NC Denomination:

Baptist Joy Community Fellowship is seeking a Bi-vocational Pastor who is called by God to lead our congregation into its next season of ministry. We are a Bible based church that is eager to grow spiritually and be the hands and feet of God, ministering to the needs of those in our community. Our ideal candidate is an authentic and dynamic communicator of the Word, a visionary leader, and a compassionate counselor able to connect with multi-generational families and individuals, providing biblical guidance for the problems of today's world. Our congregation membership is approximately 45 active members, and we currently have a "blended" worship experience, moving towards a contemporary worship style that will resonate with a multi-generational congregation. Key Responsibilities The pastor is expected to devote himself to prayer and the ministry of the Word of God.

Provide spiritual leadership and pastoral care to the congregation, fostering a culture of faith, love, and service.

Develop and deliver engaging, biblically based weekly sermons during worship service (Sunday mornings), as well as on special occasions and events.

Plan and lead services, collaborating with the worship team, and ensuring services are meaningful and spiritually enriching.

Provide pastoral care for members of the congregation, including visiting the sick, counseling those in need, and offering support during times of crisis.• Plan and lead small group ministries, Bible based weekly studies (Wednesday nights). • Work with church leadership and staff to establish and execute a vision and strategic plan for the church's growth and leadership development. Qualifications A clear calling from God to pastoral ministry.

Ordination preferred.

Previous pastoral experience is desirable but not required.

Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
