Bid-Build Manager

Property Care is looking for a driven, organized, and relationship-focused Bid-Build Manager to help grow our commercial landscape construction division. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives in both sales and operations — a leader who can estimate and win profitable work while also guiding crews to deliver exceptional results in the field. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing commercial construction opportunities, preparing competitive bids, managing client relationships, and overseeing the successful execution of projects through direct leadership of 1-2 landscape construction crews. What You'll Do Drive New Business Identify and pursue commercial landscape construction opportunities with developers, general contractors, property owners, and municipalities. Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to prepare accurate, competitive, and profitable proposals. Negotiate scope, pricing, and contracts to secure new work and exceed sales goals. Help generate and manage approximately $1M-$1.5M in annual sales and production revenue . Build Strong Client Relationships Deliver a professional, responsive, and "no surprises" client experience. Manage projects and communication from initial opportunity through contract award and project completion. Develop long-term relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams. Lead Production & Field Operations Directly manage and support 1-2 landscape construction crews executing sold work. Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget. Conduct site visits, monitor quality and productivity, and provide leadership to field teams. Ensure safe work practices and high standards of execution on every project. Deliver complete and organized project handoffs to crews for successful execution. Manage Estimating & Pipeline Activity Maintain accurate estimates aligned with company production standards and profitability goals. Track bid activity, pipeline opportunities, and forecasting. Prioritize deadlines and manage multiple bids and active projects simultaneously. Represent the Property Care Brand Model our company values, professionalism, and commitment to excellence. What We're Looking For 3+ years of proven experience in commercial landscape construction, estimating, project management, production leadership, or bid-build sales. Proven experience of bidding commercial projects from plans, specifications, and construction documents. Proven experience managing landscape construction crews or field operations preferred. Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and client expectations. Proven ability to close profitable work and successfully execute projects. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects simultaneously. Experience with estimating software, CRM systems, spreadsheets, and platforms such as Aspire preferred. Self-motivated, team-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality results.
