Full-time Description:
A leadership position within
BIGGBY COFFEE
within the store, responsible for managing a store by hiring, coaching, and developing a full staff, managing various financial data points, and the ability to effectively communicate store goals and new information to employees.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Hire a full staff Hire following Pavilion Ventures hiring procedures as needed. Conduct new hire orientation and training following Pavilion Ventures hiring procedures. Promote following Pavilion Ventures promotion procedures as needed. Demote following Pavilion Ventures demotion procedures as needed. Maintain staffing levels—look ahead at staff changes Plan ahead for high turnover periods (spring and fall, coinciding with school schedules) Lead by example in creating a welcoming environment for all customers Ensure every customer is leaving the store in a better mood than when the customer arrived. Produce high quality products. Ensure the store is clean and organized, especially from the customer's perspective. Ensure staff how to handle issues if they arise. Help customers achieve a unique to them drink through offering a beverage and food upsell on every transaction. Ensure that every Cashier is offering a beverage and food upsell for every transaction Understand how upselling benefits the customer Shows them how to customize their drink Can show them options they didn't know they had Try new products and encourage customers to try them as well! Coach and develop team Monitor each staff member for individual growth potential. Coach staff members in various ways they can improve in their roles—praise staff for meeting or exceeding expectations. Coffee season rollout Review coffee season guidebook Lead rollout meeting Allow Assistant Manager and PERColator to assist in rollout. Ensure proper marketing materials are up at the start of any new coffee season. Reviews, Recognition and Disciplinary Action Reviews Conduct 6-month reviews with all eligible employees following Pavilion Ventures review procedures. Enter reviews and raises properly Recognition Recognize employees outside of 6-month review periods for various reasons. Praise in public, discipline in private. Disciplinary Action Document any disciplinary conversations from verbal warnings to official write ups. Documents must be stored in the employee's online file following the proper Pavilion Ventures procedures. Terminations should never be a surprise to an employee. Having the necessary conversations and documents to back up a termination ahead of time are incredibly important to the entire process. Maintain health department standards through checklist and chore execution Checklist knowledge, awareness, and completion Ensure Opening, 3-hour, BIG 10, Closing checklist tasks are completed at the appropriate times. Ensure checklists are filled out and documented properly in Connecteam. Ensure weekly and monthly chores are completed. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are being followed. Understand the purpose of the 3-hour dishes, the Temperature Danger Zone and other food safety concerns. Able to handle a Health Department inspection. Maintain proper cash handling procedures Ensure proper cash handling procedures are following (i.e. pinpads are being handed out to customers, correct change is given, etc.) Count down drawers properly Conduct managerial duties including marketing, auditing, sales forecasting, coaching, and problem solving. COGS and Labor Spreadsheet Deposits Marketing plan execution Understand current marketing plan Participate in drink drops Participate in local community events Plan for and execute any current marketing initiatives Lead, Manage, Accountability Lead by example. Manage staff. Accountability-Audit various aspects of job responsibilities to ensure proper follow through by staff. Audit scheduled vs worked hours Audit practicals and training assessment results Audit facility maintenance Audit coffee season and new procedures rollouts Audit store numbers compared to goals PERComanager Add and terminate employees Edit employee wages Edit employees clock ins/outs as necessary Jasper Know how to pull all necessary reports Bloomgrowth Update scorecard weekly Attend weekly District meetings Attend bi-weekly Same Page meetings with District Manager Connecteam Maintain staff in Connecteam Communicate regularly with staff Post schedules in Connecteam for easy access FreshDesk Ensure the equipment and the store are properly maintained and in good repair to avoid equipment failure, costly maintenance, and to meet fire department, health department, and OSHA standards. Home Office Tickets Know how to submit a ticket to the

Home Office as necessary Maintain weekly COGS within budget and maintain a fully stocked store Conduct weekly Sysco and Mooville orders within budget Submit BOSS orders within budget Complete weekly schedules on time and in budget Track time off requests Add people and availability to a schedule Proper daily and hourly coverage based on sales Create a schedule in budget Schedule sent to District Manager by 12pm on Mondays. Schedules shared with staff by 12pm on Thursdays. Ensure every product is available during open hours Ensure staff know what to do in emergencies Conduct will-call orders as necessary Knowledgeable of store goals, communicate and motivate staff to achieve goals, and understand how to achieve goals on an hourly, daily, weekly and quarterly basis. Understand store's ABC, cup count goals. Communicate goals regularly to staff Coach staff in how to impact goals on shift through consistent upselling, following Position Priorities, etc.
Assess execution of store contest:
ensure staff know contest, and how to execute properly, coaching them as necessary. Assess speed of service and ensure proper procedures (Position Priorities, PERC, recipes) are maintained. Maintain

standards such as PERC, Position Priorities, recipes and Cultural Values execution.
Position Priorities:
Memorize and follow proper Position Priorities, including assigning and reassigning all working staff to a specific position.
PERC:
Memorize and live out PERC behind the counter every moment of every day.
Recipes:
Memorize and ensure all proper recipes are being used by all staff.

Qualifications:
Looking for an energetic and friendly person, able to perform multiple tasks, has good verbal and written communication skills, is passionate about procedures and goals, can delegate tasks, motivate team members, has good cash handling, cleanliness and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of food safety practices or ability to learn is essential. Must be available 35 hours a week. Must be available to work weekends. Must be 18 or older. Must be able to complete the New Barista Training Program, Shift Leader Training Program, PERColator Training Program, Manager Training Program and Food Safety Certification.
