Whether assisting customers in selecting the perfect bike or performing detailed repairs, your enthusiasm and technical know-how will keep our cycling community thriving. Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by guiding customers through bike selections, accessories, and maintenance options. Perform basic bike repairs and maintenance, including brake adjustments, suspension servicing, wheel truing, and drivetrain tuning. Assemble new bikes accurately and efficiently, ensuring safety standards are met. Use hand tools and power tools to diagnose issues, replace parts, and perform repairs with precision. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire replacements, brake repairs, and suspension servicing to optimize bike performance. Assist customers with retail math calculations for sales transactions and product recommendations. Lift heavy bikes or components safely during repairs or stock handling, adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Mechanical knowledge of bike systems including brakes, suspension components, gears, and wheel assembly. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and specialized bicycle repair equipment. Experience in retail sales or customer service environments Knowledge of cycling products, maintenance procedures, and industry standards. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during repairs or inventory management. Enthusiasm for cycling coupled with a proactive attitude towards learning new techniques and technologies related to bike repair and maintenance.
