Reyes Blum PLLC is an established immigration law firm located in Southwest Houston, Texas. With a legacy spanning over 40 years, our firm is dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to clients in the areas of removal defense and family-based immigration law. We take pride in our commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client satisfaction.
Position Overview:
We are expanding and looking to add a passionate and dedicated associate attorney to our team who will help us serve our clients. Spanish speaking abilities and prior immigration experience is preferred but not required, we will train and support the right person for the position.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in Immigration Court, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), and Immigration and Customs Enforcement;
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and affidavits
  • Communicate with clients, supervisors, staff, opposing counsel, and government agencies
  • Maintain case files and meet deadlines
  • Stay current with changes in immigration laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases
Qualifications:
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active state bar membership
  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required (both oral and written)
  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience with immigration law in a law school clinic, non-profit, or private law firm is preferred but not required
